Amy graduated in 2007 with a degree in Nursing. She moved to Durango with her husband and worked in the hospital setting before taking a break to raise her children. She is also a lover of movement. During her struggle with anxiety, Amy realized how much body movement and breath became her medicine. She received her 225-hr yoga teacher certificate through Holy Yoga. Amy teaches a variety of classes including vinyasa, restorative and Soul Yoga where she connects breath and movement with scripture meditation. Amy is also a spin instructor at Psycle Durango and enjoys teaching physically challenging classes that leave you sweaty, smiling and all filled up. When she’s not pouring into people you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her husband and 2 kids.
